Unfortunate news.

If you’ve followed me on social media for any length of time, or even just been a newsletter subscriber, you have likely seen that I’ve been working to build my presence off of Meta and TikTok platforms. There are many reasons for this, but the biggest is because it feels like daily another author is losing access to their account(s) permanently for loose violations at best.

Unfortunately, today is my day. Although I’ve never had a warning of any kind before, today all of my Meta accounts were suspended pending appeal. While I have submitted everything required for the appeal process, I do not hold out hope that my accounts will be restored based on statistics of what I’ve seen. Thus, Facebook, Instagram, and Threads are inaccessible at this time. And while I see the pitfalls that social media can lead to, the hard truth is that as a small independent author, I rely on those connections to reach new readers.

So what’s next? To make sure you’re current on my upcoming books, sales, etc., stay put right here and feel free to jump into my Discord server. There are channels for the various series I have in progress, collaborations that are coming up, arc notifications (including from other authors), and more. While I do plan to rebuild my social media in time, I think this is also a good chance to reset and look at the opportunity of diversifying and trying new, scary things.

These were meant for flyers at my most recent in person event, but it didn’t work out as planned. Apparently they truly weren’t meant to be! Haha!
