It's release month for APFYT!
Fall refresh, anyone?
I know spring cleaning is a thing, but does anyone else ever feel the need to have a refresh during this time of year? I don’t know if it’s heading back to school, moving into holiday season soon, or what, I just always feel like I need some reorganizing in my life around this time.
The biggest thing on my mind right now is getting all of my books organized. Since our move, we had to utilize bookcases for alternate items, and now I’m on the hunt for some new ones. I’m sad that all of my books are trapped in cardboard, so I’m hoping to remedy that soon.
I’m also working on some banner updates, website updates, minor changes to The Fallout Duet, and more, so be on the lookout for those!
A Penny For Your Thoughts
ARC sign ups for APFYT close TOMORROW! The e-book and graphics will be sent tomorrow as well. So if you’ve put it off for any reason, now is the time to sign up.

That said, if you don’t have time to ARC read, you can always add A Penny For Your Thoughts to your TBR! E-Book preorders are currently available for $1.99 and you can put it on your Goodread shelf as well! These are both quick and easy ways to help a book gain some traction, and I appreciate it more than you know!
Writing Updates
I am currently working on two holiday novellas that I would love to publish this year if I can make it happen. The first, a Halloween novella, is with a couple of alpha readers. As my first novella, this one has given more a little more trouble than anticipated but I’m hoping to iron things out over the next couple of weeks.
The second takes place from Thanksgiving to the new year. It’s a cozy romance and I anticipate it having less spice than my other works.
Both of these are on self-imposed timelines. If all goes well, I’ll be sharing more about them in the coming weeks. If not, I’ll put them off until next year. One thing I’ve learned over the last year is how to give myself grace when I don’t reach the goals I’ve set for myself, and that’s been incredibly important because the quality of my books is immensely important and I won’t be putting out stories that I’m not proud of.
A Love Not Forgotten
Also, in case you missed it, I revealed the cover for my book in the Garden of Desires Collection!

This collection is a group of standalone novels and novellas that are not connected in storyline, but by a theme of flowers that are important to the plots. The forget-met-not is mine and I’m really excited to share more about this one. I’ve challenge myself to write in a different way than usual, mostly because it fits the story, but also because I love continue to grow in my craft. So stay tuned for more that!
MC Romance series anyone?
Elise Gedicke is the author of the Via Daemonia MC series. Elise is a full-time RVer, traveling the country with her dog, Porthos!
Book 8, Scar, is available now and book 9, Pumpkin, is available for preorder. As a lover of Halloween, I feel like I NEED it!!
Julian “Scar” Ragna is the former Enforcer of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. A tortured soul, Scar would do anything to protect those under his care. He failed in that duty once and won’t fail again. Years ago, Scar made a deal with the devil to avenge the lives of his Delta Force team. Now the devil wants his due…but Scar won’t go down without a fight. He has no idea that that fight will bring him to the literal doorstep of the most formidable woman he’s ever met.
Everyone underestimates Tally Meacham. Born with bilateral anophthalmia, Tally has been blind her entire life, but she refuses to let that stop her. Against the odds, she became a successful chef and opened her own restaurant. Lately, things have been happening. Weird things. She swears there’s a man in her apartment but the police say no one is there. She knows; she can sense him. He hasn’t harmed her nor has he spoken to her. But he’s there, watching her. So Tally does what she does best: she cooks for him.
Can this unlikely pair take down Scar’s enemy together—even if that enemy is Tally’s father?
Reminders & Updates
After a series of unfortunate events this year, a lot of my in person commitments have changed. At this time, my next in person event will be Flirty in Kansas in 2026. I will have preorders up soon. I’d love to see you there if you’re attending!
XOXO, Amanda
